DRA Water delivers Operations and Maintenance Services to a variety of Clients in South Africa and broader Africa, mostly in the mining space, operating water treatment plants that use state of the art technologies. Within the different sites there is a wide range of unit processes, including Reverse Osmosis and Ultrafiltration membrane technology, Reactors, Clarifiers, Filters, Vacuum belt filters, Dredgers, Limestone Saturators, Chlorination, Pumping and storage. The sites vary from more basic PLC control to more complex automated control via SCADA and generally have onsite laboratories to perform production related analysis.

For the artisans there is significant opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of technology, the scope covering Direct online and Variable Speed Drive and soft starter drive units, flow, pressure, temperature, level and analytical measurement devices, as well as pneumatic and electric actuated valves.
